Babinsky’s Room

Babinsky’s Room is a short silent drama completed for a brief at Falmouth Univeristy. The task was to create a film drawing influences from an aspect of silent cinema during the 1900s to 1920s. Inspired by Surrealism cinema films Un Chien Andalou and L’age D’or by Salvador Dali and Luis Buñuel, Babinsky’s Room explores the abstract mental state of a writer.

Filmed in the studio space at Falmouth University and the Victorian Fire Station of Redruth, this was an enjoyable and creatively challenging project to work on. In assessment, the short received a First grade.
