Turn Back Time: Penzance – The High Street

Turn Back Time is a short documentary that looks into the historic market streets of Penzance. With archive footage of the area from the 1800s and interviews with members of the community, this short film reveals how the town has been shaped over the centuries by local businesses and market days.

This project was made by the BBC Video Nation Network as a follow up to the BBC1 series Turn Back Time, and was made in association with the local Awen Productions CIC.

The film was screened with a selection of other regional ‘Turn Back Time’ documentaries at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London in fall 2011.
